Turkish Coffee – A Tradition That Lives On Today

December 9, 2025 at 1:46 pm
Turkish Coffee

Originating in the 16th century in the Ottoman Empire, Turkish coffee quickly became an essential daily ritual and still holds a special place in Turkish culture. Turkish coffee is savored slowly — during conversations, hospitality, and even fortune-telling with the coffee grounds.

It’s prepared in a “cezve” pot using finely ground coffee, water, and patience. When the famous foam appears, the aroma fills the room.

A small cup is like a quick journey to Istanbul: warm, intense, and full of historical charm.
